Brian Gutekunst discusses the decision to trade up for Jordan Love

Green Bay's on the map, NFL Draft-wise.

Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst spoke Thursday night after the team traded up in the first round to take Utah State quarterback Jordan Love at #26 overall.

Gutekunst told reporters that labeling Love as the successor to Aaron Rodgers wasn't fair, and that he hadn't spoken to Rodgers yet, but believed he'd be fine with the pick. Gutekunst said Love was the best player on their board and they stuck to it, and that the cost of a fourth-round pick wasn't that steep.
