Andrew Brandt feels bad for Jonathan Taylor and NFL running backs

The MMQB's Andrew Brandt joined Mike Heller and Jon Arias on Friday's Rich Eisen Show to talk about the latest moves in NFL Free Agency. We talkd about Tom Brady to Tampa Bay of course but the conversation turned to free agent running backs which led to a bigger discussion about the value of running backs in today's NFL. Brandt tells us why he feels bad for today's running backs in the NFL and their potential to earn the most money possible throughout their career. We used former Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor as an example as a guy who is forced to enter the league after 3 years in college then get a rookie deal, with franchise tags, that could last another 6 years before he's ready for his first big NFL deal. By then most teams move on.
