Memorial's win has them facing top-seeded Verona on Friday night.
#5 Madison West shut out #12 DeForest, while #4 Sauk Prairie clobbered #13 East/La Follette 10-2. Those two winners meet later this week.
#6 Middleton shut down #11 Tomah/Sparta 7-2 and will play at #3 Sun Prairie Thursday night in a rubber match between the two rivals.
#7 Reedsburg held on for a 1-0 win over #10 Monroe to move on to play #2 Edgewood Thursday night at LaBahn Arena.
Other area teams advancing include Beaver Dam in Sectional 2. Other area teams falling in action Tuesday include Janesville, Beloit, and Milton/Fort Atkinson.
